Dylan LaPointe is a mixed media artist and illustrator based out of Crown Heights, Brooklyn. His eclectic body of portraits and figure studies often integrates collage, textured fields of color, and crosshatching—the result is a refreshingly intimate portrayal of anxiety, grief, and human connection. His self-portraits are whimsical and self-deprecating as he stages distorted characters in surreal and oddly relatable tableaus. Raised in the New York city music scene, Dylan also works closely with artists and musicians of all kinds, collaborating to build a cohesive vision between music and visual art. He currently works as a part of the Robert Blackburn Printmaking Workshop and his illustrations were recently published in Carrier Pigeon magazine. Dylan is a consistent contributor to the Heath Gallery, and the Blackburn 20/20 Gallery.

He likes to spend his time hiking, biking, juggling, dumpster diving, and playing with his bands, Tetchy and King of Nowhere.
